I'm with you a 100% on creating the ability to store bags in your inventory or storage box. I would also suggest the ability to name your bags, ie weapons, runes, junk, materials, rare, etcos, rubies, etc. I would also suggest that there should be levels/categories of bags, ie 5 slot bags sold by merchants, 10 slot bags maybe obtained through a some sort of quest as a reward or obtained through collectors and 15 slot bags (green/rare) drops from bosses/chests.

I do not think it's a good idea to have recursion in the bags themselves, ie bags within bags as this provides a bottomless pit of storage which seems a bit of overkill for storage purposes.

I really, really hope that Anet implements a guildhall storage box or ability to access storage while in your guild hall. It is a pain to role a pvp character which will not have any gold/cash and then have to zone out to get gold to do guest invites/ get equipment, etc.

Having guildhall storage may be a bad idea since the guild leader could kick you out at anytime leaving you without your loot. Unless you are the guild leader.

The extra storage is good however it would just increase farming even more since the farmers would not have to sell off inventory as fast to make room for new stuff.

Anet could charge a reaccuring fee to have acess to the added storage which would help remove some of the gold from the game that farmers are making.

The maybe it would be possible to have lockers then for each member with in the guild. All with your own password, so you could get in. and if the member is kicked your locker would come with you.

Well sort of, obviously you wouldn’t be carrying a giant metal locker but you kinda get the idea. The only thing with this Idea is that where would your items go until you have a new guild…

anyone else have any ideas?

I thought I was totally set until I realized I couldn't move full bags... I think a large portion of storage problems would be fixed if you could move bags with things in them.

At the very least there should be one storage for each of your 4 characters with the ability to trade between them.

If you ask me, Anet does have a realistic view of how much stuff you can hoard, and that is exactly why the storage is so tiny. Be glad all items only take one slot. If you have too much garbage, bite the bullet and get rid of some of it.

First of all, what we all seem to like is the one time fee for this game. No doubts on that. I got my game online, for like 40 and some bucks, and i think it was well worth it. Great ingame experience both pvp/pve.

We have to understand that after a while ANET will sell less and less copies of the game. Still, their maintanace costs will be high. So ANET wont agree on giving you huge storage because of their marketing issues. If you want more storage, buy another copy, make another account.

Just an idea: if you want pay a monthly fee for a greater storage, more toon slots, etc. Optional upgrade package.

Cuz, hey. If i build you a house i wont agree on building you a garage, dog house for free just cuz you need it.

I think that ANET gives sh*t on your ingame gold/plat. If they wanted your plat, they`ll just make id and salvage kits cost 10 plat. Or better, charge you 100 gold whenever you put or remove stuff from storage and also charge you a % of the gold you get out putin / get out of storage.

All in all, more storage is needed, but we most probably wont get it

With all my armors, weapons, and gifts people give me, I have to use my other characters as mules to play one of them. So I have to constantly transfer just to play with that character once.

I am sick of having to use characters as mules and would more storage especially the bags in the chest idea as 20 bags = lot of spaces.
I would pay more gold for each bag as well there are times I felt like paying 500G or even 5K just to have that extra space, if it was possible. Ditch belt pouches we need another bag at the very least.

Guild Wars is already too biased by people who buy/sell things on ebay, (which is illegal). I assume GW knew this was going to happen, so they made the total amount of items you could have a smaller amount than most games.
B the way, if "realistic" to you means sticking 20 warhammers in a bag, and holding 5 bows on your belt, you need to get out more.
